2008 Beijing Paralympics-Gold for Team GB!
Michel Assouline (squad coach) and David Hunter (chef d’équipe) led Team GB Para-Equestrian Dressage to victory at the 2008 Beijing Paralympics Games. Their team won team gold and came home with a total of 10 medals, an incredible 5 gold and 5 silver. In the team competition all qualifying scores were well above 70% which was a historical first. Germany won team silver and Norway team bronze.

Eastern Regional Championships
At the College Equestrian Centre on 3rd August Mette Assouline and Forrest Gump won the open Medium qualifier, were 2nd in the Medium open Championship and placed in the Advanced Medium Championship. Michel Assouline and Wolfgang AD were 3rd in the Intermediare I Championship.

Streisand placed at Hickstead CDIO
Michel Assouline and Streisand a 6 year old 17.1 hands black mare by Showstar were placed in the 6 year old national championship final on 23 July. Streisand is owned by AV8 Consultants Ltd and Assouline Dressage.

Rebecca goes on Team GB !
Congratulations to Rebbeca Drane and Bardolino for their selection to represent Great Britain at the Junior European Championships where they were the highest scoring British rider in the Team test. Bardolino was bought last year by Alan Drane from Assouline Dressage for his daughter Rebecca. [June'08]

Emma Zwetsloot and Louis Feraud
Congratulations to Emma Zwetsloot for a great competition debut with Louis Feraud. Emma bought Louis last year from Assouline Dressage and has been competing at Prix Saint Georges as shown in the photo taken at the College Equestrian Centre in May 2008. They are aiming to train towards Grand Prix by the end of the year.

BD apprentice Okke Krol wins at Winter Championships!
Okke Krol, a British Dressage apprentice for almost three years now at Assouline Dressage won the Petplan Prix Saint Georges winter championship in Hartpury on 18 April 2008 on Jane Mc Garel Groves's Dream Maker (Donnerhall). Okke is training towards his 'Trainer' qualification.

Mette wins Inter II in Saumur!
Mette Assouline was in good form on their first trip abroad with Enzian. Their won the Inter II class and qualified for the Grand Prix Special to finish in 7th place at the Saumur CDI in France. [25 Sept. 2007]

Michel Assouline and Louis Feraud placed on their first trip abroad.
After a good Grand Prix Louis Feraud and Michel Assouline qualified for the Grand Prix Freestyle at the Saumur CDI, France and finished in 8th place. It was Louis's first trip abroad and they scored 65.80 per cent.

Demi-Jour is National Champion!
Demi-Jour and Sondra Darnborough are the 2007 Preliminary national champions. They won in good form with a mark of 71.55 per cent on 16 September at the British Dressage National Championships in Stoneleigh, Warwickshire. A month before they have won for the second year running the Preliminary Regional Championship at The College. Demi-Jour is a five year old Hanoverian by Di Maggio owned jointly by Jane Mc Garel Grove and Mr and Mrs Assouline's. DJ is based and in training at the Assouline's Brickhouse Farm.

Forrest Gump is Reserve-Champion at BD Young Horse Championships!
Forrest Gump and Mette Assouline were placed second at Addington on 11 July in the difficult 6 year old international class. In the evening semi-final they finished on 80.20 per cent retaining their second place just a wisker behind Jane Gregory and Soul Sister.

Wolfgang-AD wins Intermediaire I Masters at UNEX Towerlands!
Michel Assouline and Wolfgang-AD, a 9 year old Hanoverian by Warkant won the Hickstead Masters Intermediaire I qualifier on 27 June at Towerlands. This was their third outing this year and highest percentage so far (69.89 per cent). |

Michel wins with new partnership.
Michel Asssouline won the Intermediaire I qualifier at Hickstead on 15 June 2007. Michel's new ride is Wolfgang-AD a 9 year old Hanoverian gelding by Warkant. Wolfgang-AD is owned jointly by Rolande Lathuilliere and Assouline Dressage. Rolande had previously been a sponsor of Dominique d'Esme, a succesful French international rider. Davino wins international 6 year old qualifier!
Congratulations to Daniel Sheriff with his win on Davino. They took the international 6 year old class at Patchetts Equestrian Centre. Davino is owned by Claire and David Seaman who bought Davino from Assouline Dressage as a rising 4 year old. [May 2007]

Forrest Gump wins in first outing!
Forrest Gump a 6 year old Wesphalian stallion by Florestan won the 6 year old international qualifier at Oldencraig Equestrian Centre on 11 May with Mette Assouline. Mette was very impressed with his attitude and temperament in his very first competition ever. Forrest is licensed in Germany and with the British Warmblood Society. Mette Assouline and Indiana's first Grand Prix.
Congratulations to Mette and Indiana (Enzian). They were placed 2nd in their first ever Grand Prix at the Hickstead Dressage Masters qualifier on 15 April 2007.

Multiple wins at UNEX Towerlands!
Okke Krol, a BD apprentice at the Assouline-Dressage yard won 4 classes at Towerlands on 16 August. He took the Elementary open on his own 7 year old Sunnieboy (by Emma Hinddle's team stallion Lancet), both Advanced Mediums on Jane Mc Garel Groves's Dream Maker (Donnerhall) and the open Novice with Nicky Hedin's Oda (Dutchwarmblood). Louis wins Hickstead Dressage Masters Championship.
