Escapado, Oldenburg gelding by Ex Libris sold to Carl Hester, multiple winner of international Grand Prix classes. They made Olympic dressage history in Athens! Their scores were all above the 70 per cent mark- best Olympic scores ever of a British rider- and they were the only British combination to qualify for the Kur to finish 13rd overall. Escapado was imported and produced at home and competitions as a youngster by Assouline-Dressage and then sold to Carl. Picture on the top right is Carl Hester (courtesy of Horse & Hound) and bottom right is Michel Assouline with Escapado then a 5 year-old at the 1998 Nationals in the Futurity class.
